Earlier today, The Great Falls Tribune reported workers in the downtown area Montana city were evacuated from buildings downtown this morning because the area smelled of Natural gas. Although a wide-spread gas leak was feared, the scent actually originated from scratch-and-sniff cards designed to demonstrate the dangerous smell. The general ma ganger of Energy West said that after workers threw the expired cards into the dumpster, the garbage trucks crushed it which released the smell. “It was the same as if they had scratched them,” Bohr said.
